BIOGRAPHY

      Although born and raised in Montana, Bob Rose has been based in Austin, Texas since the 1970’s. He’s been dedicated to writing and performing his own original songs- whether solo, duet, or backed by the Bob Rose Band. Bob has entertained in clubs and colleges across the USA. In addition to playing at the Continental Club, Broken Spoke, and many country and Americana establishments, Bob has played several times at the Austin Opry House.

      He’s received airplay on KVET radio and has opened shows for Billy Joe Shaver, The New Riders of the Purple Sage, and for Junior Brown (a former band member).

      Bob has released 3 CDs of original music, which have been well received. His most recent CD, Tune Wrangler, is available at his  shows.

     You can friend him on Facebook as Rockin Bob Rose. During the pandemic, he’s been putting new original songs on Facebook. He’s very happy to be back playing live music and has numerous gigs in Austin, Dripping Springs, Marble Falls, and surrounding areas. Next summer he’ll be playing around southern Colorado.
